Stitched Up Stories

You are invited to pull up a chair and join in a fun-filled series of online Story Events with our group of Sponsoring Shops from across the country!

Stitched Up Stories features a different designer each month in a one-hour Zoom session. We will get to know their humble beginnings, creative processes, and current obsessions.

Additionally, designers will share some of their own projects during Show & Tell time! There will be opportunity for Q&A, along with other fun surprises for those who join Stitched Up Stories!

Your seat at each Stitched Up Stories Event is just $20. This fee helps to support the Guest Speaker, as well as your LQS as a Sponsoring Shop!

Can’t make it to the Live Event? No worries! The recordings will be available to registered participants for seven days.

Carmen Geddes

Carmen Geddes has a friendly, low-key approach that brings her love of quilting and people together. She was named Teacher of the Year at HMQS, and has taught around the country. Her quilts have been featured in numerous magazines. She has developed the Tensisters Piping Tool and Tensisters Easy Piecing Grid, as well as several books.

Daniela Stout

Daniela Stout opened a quilt shop in the San Diego area in 2003. She quickly started a Strip Club at the shop to pique interest and entice quilters. Other shops wanted to purchase them for their own clubs, and Cozy Quilt Designs was born.  Daniela can’t stop coming up with ideas, and now has 150 strip patterns to her name! Even today -almost twenty years later- she is creating new designs, even posting the presentations on her YouTube channel: Cozy Quilt Designs. Cozy offers many other patterns, including fat quarters, layer cakes, and blocks of the month, but their roots will forever be in Strip Club.

Toni & Jenny from Wing and a Prayer

We are two kindred spirits with a love of color and design. This is reflected in our fabric collections for Timeless Treasures and in our patterns over the last 14 years and counting. We strive to create memorable quilts and projects that become tomorrow's heirlooms. Toni owned Prairie Pieces Quilt Shop in Council Grove, KS before becoming a sales representative for national fabric companies in KS, NE & MO. Jenny has a master's degree in graphic design from Kansas State University.
